The Purpose of Our Craft and Bake Sale

Tomorrow night will be our first Craft and Bake sale and as we have had several varying inquiries concerning the sale, we felt we needed to make it clear what it is and what it is not.

First off, this is not a fund raiser event. Sherry and I, over the past couple years, have tossed up the idea of a business. She loves candle making and crafts, and I have often been encouraged to sell my cooking and baking skills. This year we decided to give it a go. Because we are not a licensed business, this event has not been opened up to the general public, but rather, we have invited friends, co-workers and family members to come.

This is an effort to help supplement our income out of great need. Therefore, to have others come and sell their things at our sale would not be conducive to our ultimate goal- income! :) We have put a lot of time, effort, energy and money into preparing this event.

Please understand; We are not having a party- Coffee, water and samples will be available. Everything else will come with a price tag.

We have opened the event for two days at varying hours so ones can come at their leisure. We will be closing at the times specified.

We are definitely eager to please our potential customers and loved ones. We want this to be an enjoyable event. We appreciate your support and are looking forward to seeing you all!
